No, sorry, your hair is genetically what you have. The only way to get wavy hair is have a perm. It will chemically change the structure of your hair, but when it grows out it will be what you had before.
No, it will not become permanently wavy. You think that by braiding it for 6 months, it will be wavy for the rest of your life? Nah.
Help me please :)

You just learn the techniques and braiding just stays wavy if you do it everyday-- because well it lasts a while..
1. Wet Hair ( towel dry )
2. Put Redken Smoothing Stuff in it to prevent frizzing
3. Put some kind of wave or curl spray and lightly spray into hair
4. Take some kind of scrunching gel and scrunch hair and diffuse
5. Put into three or more buns ( loosely )
6. Spray some garnier curl shaping gel into it
7. whatever hair is hanging out take a curling iron w/ a clamp and crimp it to your desired style
8. Put some of that Surf Stuff in and Place into buns
9. Wait a little while- every 5 min. spray some water mist onto hair
10. Spray some hairspray lightly
11. Repeat Steps 7-11
12. Put into one big really tight bun-- or split up into several depending on how much definition you want ( try this over the weekend see wwhat works before you show up at school for everyone to see )
13. Sleep- if you wake up try re-twisting in a different way
14. Wake up and take out buns
15. Scrunch a little and difuse use curling iron to crimp or twist anything that is really straight
16. anti-frizz and some hold stuff and VOILA you got wavy hair babe!
