I have natural hair {never experimented with chemicals} and I'm interested in doing micro braiding..however I'd like the end result to be straight..NOT CURLY. I'd like to know what is the best type of weave to use for this..cuz I've heard that silky weave slips out easily and doesn't look good on natural hair..I don't know :S so plz help...thanksCan micro braiding be done on natural hair?
yeah it can be don't on natural hair.
and if you wan the end to be straight, use a STRAIGHTENER.
i think u should leave it curly cus it will be more manageable and with your au natural hair you will have to straighten it like almost everyday.
and silky weave dont ';slip'; out easily, but it just doesn't look as good or '; real'; as to if your hair was chemically treated

Yes, micro braids can be done on natural hair. I know some stylists that prefer doing micro braids on natural hair because it's alot easier to braid and it will stay much longer plus it's alot healthier on the hair if it isn't processed before getting it braided. Well, I think it depends on the braider because the 1st time I got micros the didn't come out at all and my hair was partially processed but the 2nd time I got micros my hair was partially processed as well and the braids kept falling out. Each time I got the straight silky hair. I know you want the straight hair but another cute look for micros is the wavy look at the ends. That look is easy to maintain and I don't think it will look much different with your natural hair underneath.
